OUR HISTORY

Hobnob, Inc. was founded in 2003 in Pittsburgh, PA. The company cut its teeth on highly competitive markets providing Managed Campus WiFi, Network Admission Control and Remote Access systems to universities.

Bootstrapping the company in a region with a highly risk-averse customer base and plenty of competition sharpened the company's focus on business fundamentals. Innovation and customer service are Hobnob's core strengths. Hobnob is optimized to thrive in the rapidly changing wireless network space. We look to the disk-drive industry starting in 1970 for a comparative model of rapid market changes.

At the end of 2006, we relocated operations to the heart of the Silicon Valley and refocused on WWAN Amplification. Hobnob turned profitable in 2007.

Our early experience in Pittsburgh helped us thrive during the Great Recession of 2008. Hobnob has more than doubled every year since 2007. 2012 is our best year on record and we are innovating more rapidly than ever.
